About the arena
Co-op Live opened in May 2024 on the Etihad Campus in east Manchester. With a capacity of 23,500, it's the UK's largest indoor arena — designed bowl-style around the stage so every seat has a clean line.
Since opening it's hosted The Eagles, Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, the MTV EMAs, UFC nights and the Brit Awards. If a tour stops in Manchester, this is usually where it lands.
It sits about three-quarters of a mile east of us, an easy stroll along the Ashton Canal — almost all of it traffic-free.
The walk
From our terrace on Keepers Quay, take the Ashton Canal towpath east. It's roughly 1.2 km on foot, almost entirely off-road, and pops you out by the Etihad campus right next to the arena.

Make us your meeting point
Skip the queues at the kiosks. Cocktails on the marina, a small bites menu to share, and a quiet 15-minute walk along the canal towpath that drops you right at the arena.
Doors usually open 90 minutes before the headliner. Get in by 18:00 for a relaxed pre-show; we're open from 15:00 Wednesday to Friday and from midday on weekends.
Easier than meeting at the arena gates. Walk-ins for groups under 6, or reserve a table for 6–24 in advance via our events team.
We're cashless, dog friendly, wheelchair accessible, and the terrace is yours when the weather plays nicely.
Open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays — perfect for a quick nightcap on the walk back from the arena before the trams thin out.
If your show ends earlier in the week (Wed/Thu kick-out is usually before 23:00), you'll catch us right at last orders.
